Our Story
Hello! My name is Charlene Harper and welcome to our HeBGB Traveler's Cleaning Kit web site. After experiencing illnesses from poor housekeeping practices on cruise ships and at hotels (really nice ones too), our family decided it was time to find a way to ease the worry of dirty cruise ship staterooms and hotel rooms.
We assembled a bag full of cleaning supplies and lugged it with us on road trips and yes, even on a cruise vacation. While it worked perfectly, we found the bag was too big, supplies were wasted and it was very difficult to pack.
Today, we share with you our easy to pack - travel cleaning kit. We use it everywhere we go and while we cannot fully prevent getting sick on vacation, it does help us stress less.
Enough was enough!
During a hotel stay in 2016 somewhere between Texas and Michigan, I contracted athlete's foot (picture is my foot)! How can this happen? I read the fungus actually grows in showers and if a shower isn't cleaned properly you can catch the fungus through direct contact. It took weeks to heal, but I said "never again." For now on I will stress less, spray disinfectant in the shower or tub and not let germs ruin my vacations. Our HeBGB Traveler's Cleaning Kit has you and me covered!
